The Mantra of 'Less is More' takes practice, patience, determination, a fair amount of belief in yourself and a 'sifting' mentality.


Here is a loose analogy for a sifting mentality - you are taking the lumps out of the flour (the more) so you can have your cake and eat it! (the less).

  • Look around you...what's going on in front of you? (your desk, your room, your mind, the people etc)


  • What needs decluttering, moving, removing?


  • What is the one thing today you can focus on which will restore some calm in your life?

  • What are you doing too much of?


  • What is sabotaging your quality of life?


  • What/Who is really important to you?


  • What are you going to do about it?



Where do you really want your focus to be?


  • What does regaining control of your life look and feel like?


  • Who can support you with this?


  • What/Who is really important to you? (Yes, again!)


  • What is in focus for you now, next week, next month?



What does creating space mean to you?


  • Imagine your calm environment, what does it look like?


  • Look at your day, week, month - Where will you create space for yourself?


How many 'toys' do you need to play with at once?


  • What is your QUANTITY of life doing to...

  • your mind?

  • your body?

  • your relationships?

  • your outlook?


  • When will you say 'enough is enough?


  • How will you change your quantity life into a quality one?



What are the choices that are right for YOU?


  • What choices do you have control over?


  • How are the choices you are making enhancing your quality of life?


  • What do you actually need in your life?


  • Who do you really want in your life?


  • Life would be so much better for me if I stopped...


  • Life would be so much better for me if I started...
