Life really would be dull if we were all perfect, all of the time. With social media, this seems to be what some are curating, perhaps deliberately or even coercively.
A perfect face
A perfect body
The perfect family
The all things to all people worker
Their perfect instagram feed
Their perfect view of the world
or, to wrap this up in one...a perfect lie!
In an attempt to create external perfection, have we forgotten to explore the internal turmoil this 'perceived' expectation can cause us and those we are offering this picture perfect life to?
Perfection is unattainable!
Why, because even 'perfect people' are never satisfied.
The real turmoil this can cause when trying to keep this facade going can be...
Anxiety.
Procrastination leading to poor productivity.
Jealousy.
Bitterness.
Expecting 'your perfection' to be met by others at all times. (Exhausting!)
Emptiness after achieving your 'perfection', because now you want more.
Losing touch with the real you that your real friends loved, before you became obsessed with perfection!
Depression - exhaustion - burnout!

Enough is enough!
Well, that's it actually, what IS enough?
Can you take a step back and accept that "good' is 'good enough'?
Try these...
What can you do to get everything out of your system?
What REALLY makes you happy?
Where can your energy be put to best use?
What realistic target can you set yourself before you start something?
When/How will you know it's enough?
What are the small valuable steps that will provide you momentum along the way?
How are you going to acknowledge what you are doing well?
What language will be more helpful to you than "failure" or "mistakes"?
Take your first step to...
The Good Life!
