When you believe life and people have given up on you...engage your survival instincts!

Call it the feeling of loneliness, feeling unwanted, having nothing worthwhile to offer or maybe others lives appearing to be more important & fulfilling than yours.
These thoughts and feelings can be very real for all of us at different times of our lives.
Whether they are actually true or not is another matter.
For you though, in this moment, they feel very real. So what can you do in the immediate future?
Hit the survival button and go back to basics. You fought hard to come into this world, so you owe it to yourself to fight for it!
Before you do anything else, make sure you are eating, drinking and sleeping right.
If not, revisit the good habits you had when things were going well OR if your habits were bad then too, this is the perfect time to eat better, drink more (water) and sleep well. My tip...download the free YUKA app. It will give you something to think about and show you what to put in your mouth!
This might sound odd (for some) but tidying a small space either in your mind or physically, can help you to clear out some negative clutter.
For example, in your mind -
What thoughts are you going to clear away & put in your 'mind bin'. The things which are not serving you well?
Physically, there is a messy space somewhere that has been really annoying you. Get in there now and clear it up!
While you are decluttering, sit with your current mood and without judgement on yourself. It won't last, because you will do something positive about it, when you're ready...right?
Other peoples reasons and decisions for 'leaving' are out of your control and likely not what you think they are. Instead of looking for validation or reasons from others, what are you doing to validate & reason with yourself?
Just get yourself outside and breathe. If you don't have a garden, try and find a green (ish) space. Even in winter, when 'green' is at a premium, a change of climate can help you to refocus and breathe...breathe.
At a time in the near future, start to restructure your life and add some new routines into your day, or some things to look forward to. Start with the ones you can do for yourself and slowly add other people into the equation. Perhaps people who won't return your thoughts back to where we started in this blog!
The three key coaching questions for you now are...
Why am I doing this?
What makes it important for me?
How will it make a positive difference in my life?
