Coaching the body...Use it, before you lose it!
If you are fortunate enough to have a body which allows exercise, why wouldn't you?
Maybe because you haven't found 'your reason' to do it?

You may currently be saying...
"I can't be bothered"
"I don't have time"
"I haven't got the motivation"
"It's expensive"
"I'm too tired"
"I'm too old, out of shape, self conscious...."
All reasons or maybe excuses, not to exercise, depending on how you look at each statement.
Believe me, exercise is the antidote to all of these.
Reverse your thinking/mindset and look at exercise another way.
For example...
If I could be bothered, what rewards would I see for my efforts?
What am I wasting time on now which could be replaced by exercise?
What type of movement will motivate me? (Exercise is much more than gym work)
How can I exercise for free?
How can I still move my body, even if I feel out of shape or 'too old'?
In what environment can I exercise without feeling people are watching/judging me?
Now you've worked that out and stopped telling yourself you can't, here are loads of reasons to start exercising.
Maybe one of them will be YOUR REASON TOO, or maybe it will spur you on to finding your own reason...before it's too late!
Here you go...how many reasons do you need then??
Lowers blood pressure.
Strengthens heart muscles.
Improves circulation.
Boosts your metabolism .
Strength training (weights/bands) builds muscle, a must as we get older. (I'm talking from 30!).
Reduces risk of a number of diseases (Check it out for yourself).
Brightens your mood and makes you feel better.
Improves confidence.
You're not always out of breath when running around with your kids.
Your loved ones worry less about the state of your health.
You worry less (reduces anxiety & stress).
Improves your memory, concentration.
Provides you with more stamina, feeling less tired and lethargic.
A good way of drinking more water. (The more water you drink during and after exercise, the quicker you'll recover...don't over do it though!).
All the effort you are putting into getting in shape will cascade to what you put in your mouth! (Why go to all this effort and not take a look at what you are eating as well!).
If you're still not convinced then ask yourself...
Why is my health important to me?
What will I do to keep myself motivated and engaged with exercise?
What will success look like in one month?
If the answer to these questions are not energising you, you've got the wrong reason for exercising.
Go back and find YOUR REAL REASON.
My reasons...easy, the 15 points above.
Use it, don't lose it!
