10 considerations - Am I the Coach for you?

Some or all of these things may matter to you, depending on your personal values.

  1. Credentials - Independent Coach Federation (ICF) trained. Coaching in practice across The John Lewis Partnership 2004 - 2021. Motivational Coaching 2022 - present.

  1. Why coaching? - Because you need someone to explore potential future solutions with while still being in control of your own destiny.

  1. Advice - You won't get that from me. It's your life, not mine. You may get some hypothetical situations to help your creative thinking, where appropriate.

  1. Questions - Yes, relevant to what you bring to the table. Some will challenge you, some will help you to make informed decisions, some may need further thought from you and some may surprise you!

  1. Listening - Yes, this is not about the sound of my own voice, it's about yours. Think of me as a facilitator for your voice.

  1. Obligation to commit part 1 - Not until we've had a no fee conversation to make sure we are the right fit for one another.

  1. Obligation to commit part 2 - If we agree to work together, I will be committed to the coaching process and my expectation is you will be too. This will be agreed before we start (Point 6).

  1. Therapy, Counselling, Mentoring??? - None of these apply to me. Coaching is about helping you to find solutions which work for you now and in the future.

  1. Expensive? - Not compared to other coaches with my experience. Check out my price guide here and see what you think.

  1. Safety & confidentiality - I don't keep any notes beyond our final coaching session (typically between 4 & 6 sessions). All sessions are confidential via Zoom or, if you live locally, face to face in a public arena, should you prefer this approach.

Still have a question?...Take a look at my FAQs or get in touch HERE.

Thanks for taking time to explore coaching with me.
